2014 Ohio Travel iPad App, Guide, Events Calendar Now Available
Free iPad app, tourism publications make travel planning a breeze

COLUMBUS, Ohio (February 26, 2014) – TourismOhio is for the first time offering an iPad application (app) to assist visitors with their travel research and planning. Within the app, Ohio Travel Guide articles, images and information create a truly interactive experience for viewers. In addition to content drawn from the Ohio Travel Guide (available in both print and electronic versions), the Official Ohio Travel Guide app offers these bonus features:

•Regional sections feature videos that will draw viewers into Ohio travel experiences
•The Spring/Summer Ohio Calendar of Events is built into the app and will be updated with fall/winter events in late summer
•The iPad app is visually enhanced with even more stunning Ohio photos than the print or electronic Ohio Travel Guide

The free Ohio iPad app is available by searching Official Ohio Travel Guide by TourismOhio in the Apple App Store.

Through the new iPad app, our story can get into the hands of more people to guide them through all Ohio has to offer.”

The 2014 Ohio Travel Guide has a new layout with larger photos and a redesigned Event Highlights Section. Additional features include:
•“Budget Travel, More Ohio for Less” ideas to help visitors explore Ohio’s budget-friendly travel deals and discounts
•Pull-out state map featuring locations for attractions
•More than 3,000 listings for attractions, lodging facilities, restaurants and more

The 2014 Spring/Summer Ohio Calendar of Events includes:
•Listings for more than 800 festivals, shows, concerts and other activities from March through August
•68-pages of full-color images with events color-coded by region
•Calendar for each month listing holidays and events

The 2014 Ohio Travel Guide and 2014 Spring/Summer Ohio Calendar of Events are both available in print, free of charge, by visiting DiscoverOhio.com or by calling 1-800-BUCKEYE. The Travel Guide and Calendar are also available in a digital format on DiscoverOhio.com.
