The 20th Annual I-X Indoor Amusement Park, Cleveland, March 27 - April 19
Spanning more than 20 acres and 150 rides, games and attractions for guests of all ages, the I-X Indoor Amusement Park is filled with tons of indoor fun. Tri-C JazzFest Cleveland, April 23 - May 3
This year, the Tri-C JazzFest celebrates 30 years of making music in Cleveland. It is one of the largest music festivals in Ohio and has presented legendary artists over the years such as Miles Davis, Tony Bennett, Ella Fitzgerald, Dizzy Gillespie, Herbie Hancock and hundreds more, attracting nearly 1 million people. 2nd Annual Triangle Trail Half-Marathon, Brad Lytle Park, Frankfort, April 18
It's spring training in Frankfort and everyone is invited! Experience the exhilaration of running on this shaded, 13.1-mile course. Enjoy fruit and drinks at the beginning of the run and ham, beans and cornbread at the end. Sprint to the finish line for a much-deserved prize!
3rd Annual NFL Draft Tailgating Party, Pro Football Hall of Fame, Canton, April 25

History and Heritage
Treasured Textiles, Carillon Historic Park, Dayton, Now through July 31
For a limited time, visitors will be visually delighted by a diverse collection of quilts and comforters rarely seen by the public. Created both as objects of beauty and utility, these selected works of art illustrate many of the various sewing and quilting techniques that have been practiced for generations. Spanning two centuries, the exhibition highlights examples of appliqué and embroidery as well as pieced works.
War on the Home Front, Fort Meigs, Perrysburg, April 25
Viking re-enactors from the United States, Canada, England and Scotland abound as they recreate an authentic Viking encampment. See weapons battles and spinning, weaving and metalworking demonstrations. Kids can use Viking shields and learn how to use a Viking battle tactic called a shield wall. Try your hand at period activities or see a period bake oven in action.
African American Heritage Festival, The Ohio State University, April 25 - May 2
Celebrate the many contributions African Americans have made in the United States. Held on The Ohio State University campus, this event traditionally brings thousands of visitors to Columbus and is a time for people of all ages to celebrate African-American history and culture. Highlights of the festival include the Gospel Fest, Poetry Slam and Step Show.
