Ohio Tourism Division Seeks Publications Publisher

COLUMBUS, Ohio (Jan. 15, 2009) – The Ohio Tourism Division has announced the posting of a two-year contract to publish Ohio’s tourism publications. The Division is seeking an innovative, effective and experienced publisher to create, produce and deliver print and online versions of the Ohio Travel Planner (annually) and Ohio Calendar of Events (spring/summer and fall/winter issues) for fiscal years 2010 and 2011.
The current publisher of record agreement will expire at the end of fiscal year 2009, and the State is required to bid out the agreement to ensure a free and open competition for potential publishers.

Any inquires about the process from perspective publishers will be accepted through the Web site until 8 a.m. on Jan. 28. Proposals are due by 1 p.m. on Feb. 4.
