True to Form- Gallery Show Celebrates the Female Form

Local Downtown gallery, Columbus Center for Paper and Book Arts (CCPBA), is hosting a new exhibit - True to Form - opening October 3, to help kick off breast cancer awareness month.

"True to Form" features three-dimensional torsos as the basis for artists' work. There are 25 figures on display, including several focusing on the theme of breast cancer. In addition to the display, visitors may bid on the artwork, with auction proceeds going to Susan G. Komen for the Cure Columbus. The silent auction runs until December 5.

The gallery at the Columbus Center for Paper & Book Arts presents several exhibitions each year focusing on works in paper and the book arts. It's also a perfect place to find a special gift, with handcrafted jewelry and bound books, unique cards and vintage treasures...more
