  • Longhorn Head to Tail Tours

    Welcome to a real family event. Visit the largest ranch of its kind in the U.S. and the largest producer of All Natural Pasture raised lean beef in Belmont County, OH. Dickinson Cattle Co. is a working Texas Longhorn cattle ranch located in the beautiful Appalachian Foothills. This large family owned ranch opens up pastures,  previously held private from public view, for groups of 10 or more personally narrated tours. See and hand feed up to 1,000 Texas Longhorns, learn modern conservation ecology, and visit nearby birth place of Hopalong Cassidy. Our 30 x 60 store provides all your Longhorn product and lean beef needs so bring along a cooler or two. Choose from 3 different "Chown' With The Cows" catered meal options for your guests of 20 or more.  You may even purchase registered championship cattle while here. Famous people such as Oliver North, Andre the Giant and George Lucas have purchased cattle from Dickinson Cattle Company. Open April through October for groups of 10 or more paid touring guests by appointment.  We serve groups of 30 or more Sundays after 2pm if needed. Groups needing an after hour event may book after 5 pm, just inquire when booking your date and time.  Special pricing is available for booking our pavilion for parties.

  • Ohio Hills Folk Festival

    This four-day event includes: Art Show, Kiddie Parade, Mile Long Parade, Queen Parade, Car Show, Flea Market, Craft Hall and craft demonstrations. A 5-K run, children's bike races, and a pet show are among the many activities. Free entertainment nightly, concessions, rides. Festival offers a look at the past and the present with a farm museum, country store and Quaker Meeting House. There will be a large fireworks display on Saturday night.

  • Akron Fossils & Science Center

    Akron Fossils & Science Center is a museum and Science Center devoted to teaching Creation Science and Intelligent Design models in contrast to Evolutionary models for the history of life.

    The Science Center features hands on science as well as many fossils from Ohio and around the world. Individuals, families, as well as groups will enjoy our interesting displays as they journey through a series of questions in search of truth.

    Truassic Park which is attached to the Science Center is an outdoor playground with scientific principles and a dinosaur theme for all ages.

    Learn how to make a paper airplane on our tour that will fly 200 ft. and go outside to our "Dino Launch" and fly it. Come to "Pterodactyl Territory" and take a ride on our 200 ft. zip line, our 20 ft. giant swing, our 12 ft. four person helicopter swing, and our giant slide.   • Journey's Family Amusement Center

    Are you looking to have fun for the entire family all under one roof?  Then come out to Journey's Family Amusement Center located through the Kmart parking lot in Fremont, OH.  Our 28,000 sq ft building is home to one of Ohio's largest indoor amusement centers.  Have fun on our gigantic jungle gym that holds up to 150 adults.  We have huge inflatables...big enough for adults.  You'll find an 18 hole miniature glow golf, an indoor train and an arcade room featuring both kids and adult games.  We have party rooms for all occassions.

  • Kingsway Pumpkin Farm

    Kingsway Farm prides itself in offering a family oriented, cheerful atmosphere, free from the dark side of Halloween. Creative, artistic photo ops are displayed throughout the farm.   • Long's Retreat Family Resort

    Over 400 acres in Southern Ohio's scenic hills, Long's Retreat has it all!   • Perry's Cave Family Fun Center/The Butterfly House at Put-in-Bay

    Perry's Cave Family Fun Center is "the center of it all" at Put-in-Bay. Perry's Cave, an Ohio Registered Natural Landmark, is a limestone cave 52' below the surface of South Bass Island in Lake Erie. The guided tour takes about 20 minutes. In 2004, we opened The Butterfly House at Put-in-Bay, a 4000 sq. ft. aviary housing over 500 exotic butterflies from all over the world, along with a 5000 sq. ft.gift shop with something "butterfly" for everyone.
    Besides Perry's Cave and The Butterfly House, our Family Fun Center is home to Gemstone Mining, Geode Cutting, Antique Car Museum, Rock Wall and a Miniature Golf Course. New in 2006, was Fort aMAZEn', giant maze challenge. In 2011, we added Gotcha Laser Tag!
    The Tour Train makes frequent stops at the Family Fun Center, and is a great way to see Historic South Bass Island.
    Fun Center Combo Tickets are available allowing you to tour the cave & butterfly house, play mini-golf, climb the rock wall, run the maze and/or play laser tag all for one low price. Island Fun Packs are another money-saving option, combining many attractions into one discounted package, available at Miller Boat Line, The Jet Express or the Lake Erie Islands Regional Welcome Center. Also available at the Depot Downtown.  The Island Fun Pack includes your ferry ride to the island, your narrated tour aboard the Put-in-Bay Tour Train, admission to Perry's Cave, The Butterfly House at Put-in-Bay, Heineman Winery & Crystal Cave, and a round of miniature golf at The War of 18Holes.  In 2014, we added The Lake Erie Islands Nature & Wildlife Center to the Fun Pack!

  • Pymatuning Adventure Resort

    Pymatuning Adventure Resort boasts 150 campsites & 46 cabins for those who don’t have their own RV.
    The resort has a clubhouse with an indoor pool, game room, TVs and more. Outside the clubhouse there are ball courts, a large outdoor pool, paintball and batting cages. Activity directors also make sure that there is something interesting to do on each visit.
    The resort features a water park, with three long adult slides plus kiddie slide.
    Pymatuning Adventure Resort is in Ashtabula County in northern Ohio, about 50 miles east of Cleveland and only 30 miles south of Lake Erie.

  • The Children's Museum of Cleveland
