  Introduced in 2011, this was a great success and enjoyed by visitors all over the world including Pixar/Disney and several travel writers.

  
  

  This authentic evening experience allows visitors coming to Holmes County an opportunity to sit around the campfire while conversing with a local Amish family.
  
  The evening begins at 6:00 PM.  Upon arrival, you will be greeted and escorted to the backyard to sit around the family campfire.  A delicious cast iron kettle of homemade stew, corn bread, frozen fruit slush, fruit cobbler, homemade root beer and s'mores will appease your appetite!
  
  During the course of the evening, the family will take you on a tour of their home and farm, take you on a buggy ride, or a horse drawn wagon ride.
  
  Enjoy the friendly conversation  under the beautiful  sky and farm atmosphere.

  The Candy Cane Christmas Shoppe

  The Candy Cane Christmas Shoppe is a treasure trove of Christmas magic waiting to be discovered.  Located 3 miles north of Archbold, Ohio.
  
  The Candy Cane Christmas Shoppe offers a unique shopping experience in a warm, friendly environment.  Housed in a renovated school building that took seven months to renovate and opened in September 1998, the first year-round Christmas shop in Northwestern Ohio. Our seven rooms are built around the "Grand Christmas Room", a huge display featuring more than thiry different Christmas themes as well as many collectible lines.  “The Grand Christmas Room” also has an 8' high hand painted mural (by a local artist) that surrounds the entire room. 
  
  We are getting ready to go to Atlanta to buy for next years Christmas season.  We are excited to see all of the new colors and decorating ideas and we can't wait to bring it all back to you.    
  
  We are not just Christmas.  We are excited to offer all of the new patterns of Vera Bradley.  New to our store is the Melissa & Doug line for kids.  We now have the hard to find Growing Up Girls collection.  We also have Willow Tree, Precious Moments figurines and the Birthday Train pieces, Department 56 Houses & Accessories, Snowbabies,  Woodwick Candles,  Jim Shore, just to name a few.
