    Designed at the ARK in Berea and built at Coe Lake Park in Berea, Ohio. Worlds Children Peace Monument (WCPM) will become the largest art work dedicated to a sustainable Culture of Peace as Peace Stones are added annually to cities around the World. The WCPM was officially inaugurated in 2003 at the 3rd World Peace Conference held in Verbania, Italy by American Cultural Ambassadors David and Renate Jakupca, where they received an Italian Medal of Arts.  They were also recognized by the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland and in 2006 appointed Universal Peace Ambassadors.  The WCPM is organized in support of the UN Decade of Peace and Non-Violence for the Children of the World and the UN Millennium Development Goals.

  • All About Amish Dinner Tour

    Offered by Amish Heartland Tours - Berlin, Ohio

    Our most popular package in Amish country!

    Includes a 1/2 mile buggy ride, tour a proto-type one room school house,  tour 2 former lived in Amish homes, pet a barn full of farm animals, enjoy a narrated, scenic 2 hour back road tour and stop at 2 Amish Crafters.

    Dinner is included if there are at least 8 total people scheduled on the tour.

    The dinner includes homemade bread, garden salad, 2 homemade salad dressings, lemonade, ice tea, decaf coffee, baked chicken, roast beef, mashed potatoes, gravy, noodles, green beans and homemade pies, all served family style.        

    After the meal, the family will share about their livlihood and possibly sing a couple of songs.

    Each person will receive a small cookbook of recipes used by the Amish for group tours.  Tax and tip for the meal is included.

  • End of the Commons General Store

    End of the Commons General Store is Ohio’s oldest general store located 45 minutes east of Cleveland, in the scenic Amish community of Mesopotamia, Ohio where Geauga, Ashtabula &Trumbull counties meet. We are on the Register of Historic Places and have preserved the building, while maintaining a large display of antiques, dating to the mid 1800’s.     Cleveland Lakefront State Park is located in Cuyahoga Co., 3 miles from downtown Cleveland. Six park areas, Edgewater Park, East 55th St. Marina, Gordon Park, Euclid Beach, Villa Angela & Wildwood, offer greenspace & relief from the city skyline, as well as lakeside recreation on Lake Erie.
