The only existing topiary interpretation of a painting, the Topiary Garden depicts Georges Seurat’s “A Sunday on the Island of La Grande Jatte.” This recreation consists of 54 topiary figures, eight boats, three dogs, a monkey, a cat and a pond.

Founded by German Separatists in 1817, Zoar Village was a communal society. Today visitors can tour 10 restored buildings including the Garden House and Greenhouse. A formal garden located in the center of the village features heirloom flowers and vegetables.
