The Toledo Zoo is one of the world's most complete zoos--it's one of the region's top family destinations and has over 5,300 animals representing over 760 species. Each year nearly one million people come to The Toledo Zoo to experience the wonders of the natural world, stroll the beautiful grounds and explore the historic WPA-era buildings.

Celebrate the season at Toledo Zoo when the air is crisp, the grounds are gorgeous, and the animals lively! In addition there are oh-so-special games and activities available for the kids. Come decorate pumpkins and enjoy special fall snacks at this seasonal event!
The problem of left over Halloween pumpkins is solved! Animals all over the Zoo LOVE pumpkins and watching them receive pumpkins is a load of fun!
Senior Discovery Days
Weekdays in September and October senior citizens (age 60+) will enjoy free parking in the Anthony Wayne Trail parking lot, and EVERY Tuesday will also receive FREE admission. There are special senior activities on Tuesday that will be sure to please, as well as free coffee, a muffin and select discounts. Don't miss this two-month celebration for our senior citizens!
Noon Year's Eve
Toledo Zoo has turned the traditional night-time celebration into a noon celebration so that families can usher in the new year in a special way. it's Noon Year's Eve and the Zoo's ball drops precisely on the dot of noon and the event is celebrated with good cheer and toasts of apple juice! Don't miss out on the fun of this unique event!
