Hardin Historic Village and Farm

Tour this turn of the century farmstead. The 5-acre, four building facility showcases antique farm implement, including relics from Hardin County's historic heritage of Scioto and Hog Creek Marsh Area, Dunkirk Jail (the General Store), and home to the Beech Grove One Room Schoolhouse. You'll find pioneer architecture well represented by the Staadt Log House. Educational programs and reenactments are available to complete the visitor's authentic "once upon a time" experience of farmstead living, for adult and child alike. The farm is open by appointment only.

Beech Grove School

Step back in time by viewing the Beech Grove School (one-room schoolhouse used from 1893-1937); Ada Railroad Building (1879); Staadt Log Cabin (1877) with large, working, civil war weaver’s loom; and Dunkirk Jail (1861) now used to display a tools.
