Valley Gem Sternwheeler
The gentle splash of the paddlewheel reminds you of a bygone era, but this modern-day sternwheeler has all the amenities to make your sentimental journey tranquil and relaxing. The Gem is a clean and comfortable boat, Handicapped Accessible, and United States Coast Guard Approved to carry 296 passengers. See quaint Marietta from the decks of the Valley Gem on the Muskingum and Ohio Rivers.
90 minute Sightseeing Cruises depart at 2:30 and returns at 4pm:
Saturdays and Sundays in May, Everyday June 5 thru Aug. 29, Saturdays and Mondays in September (exception 1 hour Muffin Cruise 10:30am on Labor Day)
5pm to 7pm Dinner Cruises throughout the season. Every Saturday July thru Sept.

Stockport to Marietta

On Monday, October 18, the Valley Gem Sternwheeler will be traveling down Muskingum River from Stockport to Marietta. Enjoy river lore as we journey through four of the original locks and two of the side-cut canals on the Muskingum River. The locks operate today just as they did over 160 years ago– by hand! This is the last system of hand-operated locks in the country.
On Monday, depart from the Valley Gem landing in Marietta at 8:30am. A coach will transport you to Stockport. A prime rib buffet lunch will be served onboard. Arrive in Marietta at 5pmish.
Marietta to Stockport Day Cruise

On Sunday, October 17, the Valley Gem Sternwheeler will be traveling up the Muskingum River from to Stockport. Enjoy river lore as you journey through four of the original locks and two of the side-cut canals on the Muskingum River. The locks operate today just as they did over 160 years ago– by hand! This is the last system of hand-operated locks in the country.Depart from the Valley Gem landing in Marietta at 10am. A continental breakfast and a prime rib buffet lunch will be served onboard. A motor coach will take you back to your car in Marietta.
